The Barn
The Barn (La Grange du Maquis Bir’hacheim) is named after the resistance movement that operated here during the Second World War, the barn was used for discreet village gatherings and local dances during the war.
The barn conversion now offers 275 sq m of living space, with a ground floor comprising of a large living area, separate dining room, fully equipped kitchen, downstairs toilet and utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Upstairs there are four double/twin bedrooms, all with en-suite shower rooms. There is also a pool table.
The property is fully furnished to a high standard and can comfortably accommodate 8-9 people, which makes it ideal for families or larger groups.
The barn is ideal for fishing parties, families or groups wanting to stay in a place full of character, but with all modern amenities. During the summer months guest have access to the swimming pool and can stroll round the extensive grounds and surrounding countryside.
The Barn can be booked with the cottage to accommodate 12/14 people with or without exclusive use of the lake. We can offer extra accommodation in the main house if required on a request basis.
