Its seems like ages, but I am happy to say that work is now progressing well on Kingfisher Lake! We have a lot to do to strengthen the dam wall, build a new cold water monk and re-build the three swim fronts. We have made a lot of progress in the last couple of weeks and despite some setbacks with the base of the monk, we are hoping to finish by the 11th October.
We will then fill up the lake and stock sometime in December. We have ordered a number of new fish (20 – 26lbs) that will become the next generation of large Puyravaud carp and also ensure there is sufficient competition for food in both lakes from 2020 onwards.
