What a week it was for first time visitors Steve, Tom Charlie and Isaac. The guys were here to give it everything they had and quickly established the norm of fishing 24 x 7 whilst at Puyravaud.

The first night proved eventful with a number of fish including good PB’s for Tom and Charlie of 57lb+ and 58lb+. The fish kept coming all week and by Thursday all 4 had enjoyed a number of PB’s and multiple catches.

The highlight of the week was Steve beating his PB of 56lb+ with one of our biggest mirrors weighing in at 60lb 8ozs. Steve was over the moon with his best but also his first 60lb+fish.

All in all, the guys weighed in with an incredible 91 fish for a total weight of 3317.4lbs, a new venue weight record and an average weight of 36.45lbs. They landed 1 x 60, 8 x 50’s and 22 x 40’s among the total!

Needless to say the guys are keen to return, but I have warned them, that was a weeks fishing of a lifetime!
