It seems like its been a very long time, but we have finally completed the refurbishment and stocking of Kingfisher Lake. Its been almost one year since we began the project to strengthen the dam wall and build a new monk.
A couple of weeks ago, we drained Heron Lake, sorted the fish and re-stocked some back into Kingfisher. Very pleased with the results of the netting – all fish in good health and weights were higher than expected. Biggest fish is 65lb, found some lovely high 50’s which should make 60 this year, but probably the best news is the stock of 40’s we have (39), many of which will soon add to the good number of 50’s we already

have in both lakes.
The day was long, but productive and I must thank Gary and Ian who flew out from the UK specially to run the nets as well as David and Claude – good friends who are always around when there is hard work to be done.
It finally feels like we are getting Puyravaud back to normal and ready for the 2020 season.
PS we do have one week in May and one in September free after a couple of date moves, so if anyone is interested its an unexpected opportunity to catch some Puyravaud carp in 2020. Get in touch.
