Wow! what a fantastic property, beautifully clean, fabulous pool and wonderful hosts in the form of Marion and Peter for whom nothing was too much trouble.

And the fishing! - superb 21 fish out for Mark all over 20lb and 11 for Mark2 - a total of 14 over 30lb, the biggest and 37.5lb - kept us very busy.

Thankyou so, so, so, so much, we will be back with probably more of the family in tow.

Just perfect!

We loved the peace and quiet, the abundant wildlife and even the visits from Floyd and his friends. The accommodation is superb, better than we had expected and the pool is great to cool down in and relax by for those of us who do not fish. Jeff and Ian have enjoyed the fishing and caught lots of big tiddlers as well as 15 large carp weighing between 20-35lbs. This is despite the weather being too hot for fishing much of the time.

We would love to come back in the future and will be keeping an eye on your website to see how you are getting on. Thank you Peter and marion for being such great hosts.

Our second visit, even better than our first, hopefully not our last! We love being at Puyravaud - it is a truly magnificent place. The hosts are brilliant, accommodation very comfortable, wildlife is unbelievable and the fishing great. We have had a great time and cannot wait to come back for the hat-trick!

Started with a very warm welcome and just got better and better. First class accommodation, total piece and quiet. The boys loved the fishinbg and the girls loved the pool.

Many thanks once again for a great holiday. The kids enjoyed the pool, Caught a few fish and a pb of 33lb 10oz, but just being there was enough. Thank you for making the birthday special. Will see you again soon.

Had a lovely week at Puyravaud, the accommodation was excellent and the location so tranquil.

Although only managed a few days fishing and the 'catch' slow at first, it was worth the wait when I caught my first fish, a mirror carp weighing in at 26lb 1oz.  Couldn't wait to get the bait back out in the water…. It couldn’t get any better I thought! Then two days later I landed a lovely 34lb mirror carp, she was a beauty! And I understand from Peter the lake record so far. 

Not forgetting the wife's attempt! Kathy tried her luck and was pleased with her 40 small carp, both mirror and commons.

We had a great time and would love go back.

If you want a relaxing week away from it all - this is the place to stay! Fantastic accommodation with a historical feeling. Brilliant hosts who made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. I would without doubt recommend it to friends and family and to everyone else whether you are a specimen carp angler or pleasure fisherman. This is the place - the lake is a beautiful, picturesque setting and the stocks in the lake are in 'tip top' condition and well cared for by Pete who is very helpful and never short of useful advice. I wish him every success in his stocking programme and hope it won't be long before he has his first 50! Just to say a very big thankyou and we'll be back soon and maybe next time we'll catch 40 fish!

Great week at Puyravaud. Enjoyed the fishing, particularly breaking the lake record with a 31lb 7oz mirror. Loved the accommodation and the peaceful nature of the place. The wildlife around the lake was fantastic, always something new to see and the Kingfishers – WOW!

Thank you so much for letting us be your first guests at Puyravaud. The accommodation was of the highest standard – more than we could have expected.

Fishing was a bit slow to start with but as the rain fell, the fish livened up and got caught. You should be very proud of what you have done here and we will definitely be telling our friends back home what a great time we had and how friendly you both are to guests. (26 fish caught)
