We want you to enjoy your stay at Puyravaud Lakes, the following rules are intended to safeguard the fish, the fishery and to protect the business so that everyone can keep enjoying the experience at Puyravaud.

We reserve the right to inspect any angling tackle to ensure rules are being observed.

All anglers must use the unhooking mats, weigh slings and landing nets provided – please do not bring your own from the UK as you will not be allowed to use them. (more room for other holiday stuff!!!!!!)

1. Maximum of 3 rods per angler, minimum of 15 lb line.
2. Barbless hooks only – maximum size 4.
3. Only semi-fixed leads using a safety clip are permitted.
4. Anglers must remain kneeling at all times when holding fish. All fish should be treated with respect and returned carefully into the water as quickly as possible. Carp sacks prohibited.  Please do not leave rods unattended at any time.
5. All anglers should use quality boilies (fresh/frozen) as these are far superior in terms of their nutritional value. These baits are available from us on site at competitive prices - so please use what we know is the best for the fish in our fishery. Any queries, please ask us once you have confirmed your reservation. No particle or nut baits.
6. Please respect the environment around you and use the rubbish bins provided for all discarded tackle and other waste.
7. Please respect our neighbours, by keeping noise to a minimum, whether at the lakes or in the accommodation.
8. Please notify us of any damage/ injury to any fish – if serious and practicable please come and find us before returning the fish to the water. Please ensure you use an antiseptic treatment for small injuries. These treatments are available from the shop.
9. Cars may be used to take tackle to the nearest point to your chosen swim. Otherwise they must remain in the top car park at all times during fishing sessions.
10. Party blend can be used, but only if purchased from us. This is to ensure that all seed content is prepared and cooked correctly to protect fish health.

Anyone found to be in breach of these rules will be asked to leave the fishery – no refund will be given and deposits will be forfeited.
